ABOUT ME
J. Salazar is a Pasadena, Texas native. She currently works at Stages as an AV Technician. J. holds a B.F.A. in Theatre from Sam Houston State University. In the summer of 2020 she was a student of Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas. Recent sound credits include: Drag Wonderettes, ROE, and Dream: The Music of the Everly Brothers. J. is involved in high school educational theatre and serves as a contest manager during the UIL season. She believes in the power of storytelling and advocates for accessible opportunities for young artist seeking involvement in the arts.
Awards: At the South West USITT Symposium, she received a Certificate of Excellence in Sound Design for The Mountaintop and Pride and Prejudice. Through this achievement she was the Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas Recipient. In 2019 she was recognized as an Outstanding Designer at The Erica Starr Ceremony. For her work in The Wolves she obtained the Meritorious Achievement Award.
